Condition Description: This Hesse Mechatronics Bondjet BJ985 was removed from production in June 2025. It was used in a clean environment and is in excellent overall condition.A technician briefly inspected the unit, powered it on, and performed several basic tests. The machine appeared to operate as expected; however, he was unable to get the machine to perform an ultrasonic bond. Due to time constraints, he was not able to perform a more in-depth diagnosis.The ultrasonic bonding issue could potentially be something minor, such as a connection or setup issue, or it could indicate a problem with the bonding head or another component. The machine may require troubleshooting, repair, setup, or servicing before being placed back into production.We highly recommend an in-person inspection prior to purchase so you can evaluate the machine and determine what repairs or servicing may be required for your application.
